NIAS analysis and assessment

Today, there is probably no one in the packaging industry who is not familiar with NIAS. Both official enforcement bodies and customers along the entire supply chain now require this as standard from packaging suppliers. But what exactly does the abbreviation NIAS stand for, and how can such a complex class of substances even be analysed? And what can't be detected using most methods? And how does the risk assessment work, which must be carried out in accordance with Article 19 of the Plastics Regulation?
